City Alerts - Lee's view on Eastbourne

LEE'S VERDICT on Truro City   2   Eastbourne Borough   2:

"It felt like a defeat more than a draw.  There was no way we should have lost that match.  We had done enough to win and it was so sloppy and disappointing to concede the equalizer in that fashion right at the death."

"The boys had worked ever so hard to take the lead twice and I felt we had defended extremely well.  The two central defenders did really good and Ashy was brilliant before I think he ran out of legs a bit at the end.    We had to change the left hand side when Ben Williams went off with a bit of a groin problem.  I stuck Coppy there and he did all right."

TEAM NEWS for tomorrow's match at home to Eastleigh (sixth in League and handily placed for play-offs):   BEN WILLIAMS (groin) expected to be fit.  Checks on MARTIN WATTS (knee) and LEE HODGES (calf).

LEE ON EASTLEIGH:  "They are a really good side full of very high quality players.  I was saying as long ago as Christmas that I expected them to be in the play-offs even though they were third from bottom at that stage!  We will have our work cut out tomorrow and there should be some good football on view."
