Truro City FC plan improved matchday experience

NEW Truro City general manager Andrew Stephenson has promised fans a much improved matchday experience when the club begin their first season in Blue Square Bet South next month.
He said the club were working on a number of new initiatives to give the club a more professional look and feel as they prepare for life at Step 2 of non-league football.
Plans include:
A new-look to the matchday programme, which will become a full-colour, 44 page glossy publication packed full of features, stats and photos on all aspects of the club.
A totally revamped official website that will be interactive and regularly updated with all the latest news and information from in and around the club, including match highlights, blogs from the chairman, manager and players, player profiles.
There will also be an Official Fans Forum, which will also benefit from regular input from players and manager.
The club are in advanced discussions with a company who will produce top-quality club merchandise, providing a wide range of leisure wear and other memorabilia as the season progresses.
An improved PA system, refurbishment of the club house (to include Sky TV) and food outlets, where an improved product will be offered at competitive prices.
A commercial brochure has been produced which highlights the various match day hospitality packages available. It also includes sponsorship and advertising opportunities. This will be available to download via the official website and also in printed form.
There will be extensive promotion of the club both locally and throughout Cornwall, via the West Briton and its associated newspapers, who they will be working closely with throughout the season ahead.
Mr Stephenson said: "This is just a snap-shot of what is going on. There are numerous other projects that we are pushing forward behind-the-scenes.
"We are determined that Truro City Football Club offers individual fans and their families a really enjoyable match day experience not just watching the teams on the pitch but also benefiting from improved facilities.
"There are many enthusiastic volunteers helping us as we grow and develop the club, but we are looking for more.
"Our common goal is to continue taking the club forward – but we need your help.
