Treyew Road pitch in superb shape
A team of volunteers led by Mark Brent have been nurturing and tending the pitch and surrounding areas over the last couple weeks. Half a ton of soil plus extra nutrients have been spread as well as new turf laid on the centre spot and goal mouth areas. In Summery conditions tonight, the pitch looked superb and ready for the first home game against Plymouth Argyle on Tuesday 24th July. Stop the linesmen running up the pitch would help the problem seen in the second picture!!!
