City Alerts - Bashley away tonight

The update from a very confident and positive Truro City team is that everyone is buzzing for the trip to Bashley.

Manager Steve Massey said:

"The Last minute penalty to secure a well-earned draw on Saturday to Bedford was the least we deserved and it's left all the players and staff in a buoyant, confident and up-beat manner for the game tonight".

Fantastic commitment from everyone means only one player from the 18 is unable to make the five hour plus trip to the New Forest. Keeper Ollie Chenoweth's starting a new job and unfortunately cannot get time away. However, we have a superb replacement in a FA Vase winning goal keeper and former favourite Dan Stevenson. Dan will once again be pulling on the green no. 1 jersey.

Steve Massey commented, "I am absolutely thrilled to have someone of Dan's talents and ability to cover for Ollie tonight".

The only other change from the 16 that was named on Saturday is new signing Raiff Gwinnett in place of Ed Weekes.

The team will be leaving Truro midday and stop on route for a pre match meal before travelling back into the county in the early hours of Wednesday morning, but all being well with three precious points on board.
