TISA AGM and 2015-16 Membership Details

TISA AGM Saturday July 25th 12:00 at the Railway Club

The following Committee positions will be elected.  Members wishing to be nominated for any of these posts need to notify me by 17:00 Thursday 23rd July.

 

·         Chairman

·         Vice-Chair

·         Secretary

·         Treasurer

·         Travel Secretary

·         Social Secretary

·         General Committee Member x 2

 

I have received nominations for all but Travel Secretary and 1 x Committee Member

 

Please arrive in good time as we aim to end by 13:00 so that people that wish to attend Treyew Road early for Jake Ash's Testimonial can do so.

 

TISA 2015/16 Membership

Membership fees are frozen at existing levels of £10 Adult & £5 under-18s.  Members renewing can do so by just paying the required amount to the Treasurer or Secretary at the AGM or anytime up to August 8th which is the deadline for renewals.  Once the deadline has passed, previous Members will need to re-apply as a new Member.

 

This year TISA are introducing the "Far Away Branch".  This is aimed at those active TCFC supporters who regularly attend away games but live outside of Cornwall.  Because these fans do not benefit from TISA discounted travel, Membership is FREE but you will be expected to make an initial donation to a TISA designated Charity and take part throughout the year in other fund raising events.  It is hoped that this branch will develop and arrange their own out-of-County events.  Lead on away day pub meet ups etc.  If successful TISA will (subject to AGM approval) introduce a new Committee position of Away Day Member Liaison Officer.  We'll even schedule some of our Committee meetings on away days.  If you are interested in joining as a TISA "Away Day" Member just pick up an application form and tick that option.

 

New Members can apply for membership by asking the Secretary for an application form which are available now.  I can send them by email on request or they will be available to pick up on July 25th at the AGM.  Fans interested in joining TISA are invited to attend the AGM (detail above) to observe proceedings. 

 

Membership applications are subject to the unanimous approval of the TISA Committee.  The Committee will often approve membership within 24 hours of receipt of application form by meeting virtually and voting by text so that there are no delays in approving your Membership.
