LEE'S VIEW on Truro City 0 Chelmsford City 2:
"It was the same old same old, unfortunately. As we've seen so many times this season, the boys played really well and didn't deserve to lose. We know where our frailties are and hopefully we will be in a position to strengthen soon.
"It was so disappointing to see them come away with nothing after battling so hard against one of the league's top sides, on a heavy pitch. You look at where Chelmsford are in the league, but I don't think they were any better than us.
You cannot fault the boys' attitude. Time and again this season, they have given it their all and held their own against the best the league can offer. They are all bitterly disappointed. We will not give up; we will continue to work hard together as a group. We all know where the problems lie, but because of the circumstances beyond our control we have not been able to rectify them."

Tragic to keep losing when we play so well.
ReplyDeleteThe ref that sent Lee off has cost us 6 points, as we wouldn't have lost if he was eligible...
Lee has been playing in the majority of the last 24 games and we still have only won five. The recent signings still has not helped
ReplyDeletewith luck Steve Massey will be able to sniff us out the players we desperately need.
ReplyDeleteYes Massey has the contacts could be good
ReplyDeletegood to see Steve back, that video on the forum shows he still has genuine passion for the club, no need for him to wear a red and black scarf, the man is 100% Truro down to his boots
ReplyDeleteHonestly thought we were the better side throughout. Chelmsford improved in the 2nd half, but Truro continued to cause problems too.
ReplyDeleteDon't give up lads!
